Privacy Policy

Distributionize ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI agent for content distribution and strategy across social, video, and newsletter channels. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: name, email, and profile info from Google OAuth sign-in.
• Brand data: brand names, descriptions, audience, goals, tone files, and strategy inputs you provide.
• Content data: posts, drafts, calendars, and backlog items created or generated in the app.
• Connected channel data: tokens and metadata needed to publish to LinkedIn, YouTube, Substack, X, email, and blog platforms you connect.
• Usage data: feature usage, log data, device/browser info for reliability and security.

2. How we use it

• Operate and improve the app — generate content, analyze tone, build strategy and calendars.
• Publish content to the channels you authorize.
• Send you service-related communication (account, billing, product updates).
• Detect abuse and enforce our terms.

3. AI processing

Content you submit (brand info, tone files, drafts) is sent to Claude (Anthropic) to generate strategy, analysis, and drafts. This processing happens server-side — your data and API keys are never exposed in the browser. We do not use your content to train third-party models.

4. Data storage & security

• Data is stored in Supabase (Postgres) with row-level security — you can only access your own data.
• Authentication is handled via Google OAuth through Supabase Auth; we never see or store your Google password.
• Secrets and API keys are never exposed client-side.
• We retain data as long as your account is active, plus a limited period for backups/legal requirements.

5. Third-party sharing

We share data only with service providers necessary to run the product: Supabase (database/auth), Anthropic (AI generation), and the social/publishing platforms you explicitly connect (LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Substack, Beehiiv, Ghost, ConvertKit, Mailchimp, WordPress, Gmail). We do not sell your personal data.

6. Your rights

You can access, export, or delete your data at any time from account settings, or by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your brands, content, and connected channel tokens, subject to legal retention requirements.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (managed by Supabase) and optional analytics cookies to understand product usage. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

8. Children's privacy

Distributionize is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
